There are pubs in the Village, Dolly Blue Bar, located on the River Leven, offering stunning views of the river and surrounding area, and The Anglers Arms, both offering local ales and home made food. Also a restaurant, and a village shop for all your essentials, Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway, linking with the cruisers on Lake Windermere, and Lakeland motor museum are both in the Village and  within walking distance.
